The Feast of St. John is a vital event in the Masonic calendar, celebrated with joy and respect around the globe. This year, the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, situated on Tremont St. in Boston, hosted an event that truly brought together Brethren from all walks of life. Attendees experienced the Installation of Grand Lodge Officers, followed by a delightful multicourse meal shared with the Grand Master, Grand Lodge Officers, and esteemed guests from various corners of the world. This combination created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.


The rich historical context of the Grand Lodge set a meaningful backdrop for this gathering. Its remarkable architecture, marked by marble accents and intricate designs, reminds us of the deep heritage and traditions the Masonic fraternity upholds. On this occasion, the focus was not only on ceremonies; it was a vibrant celebration of friendship, brotherhood, and the transition of duties within the Lodge.


Union Lodge is always grateful to attend the event and this year we were blessed to be joined by Brethren for Orient Lodge.


Attending the Installation Ceremony


As attendees arrived, excitement filled the beautiful hallways of the Grand Lodge. The installation ceremony unfolded as a captivating spectacle, with the Grand Master taking his place alongside the newly elected and appointed Grand Lodge Officers.


The rituals practiced during the ceremony, which have been passed down through generations, captivated both new and experienced members. The solemnity of the day was beautifully paired with the warmth of fellowship; smiles were exchanged, stories were told, and the bond among Brothers was unmistakable.


Participants witnessed firsthand the essential virtues and principles of Freemasonry: integrity, charity, and brotherly love. Dinner


After the installation ceremony, the attendees moved to the dining area for a multicourse meal that perfectly capped off an inspiring day. This dining experience offered so much more than just food; it provided a venue for meaningful speeches, connections, and the strengthening of friendships.
